Its been a while since I sold my mk7 and have decided to have another van, I am torn between getting a Mk 3>5 or a early Mk8. Budget will be about £8000 once I have sold my BMW R1100S (on ebay item number https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/124197181262 if anyone wants to do a deal).
The van will need to be NOT white, SWB, low roof and rot free.

Do you mean that it needs to be SWB, low roof, rot free, but NOT white, or none of the above :?:

SWB low roof would be a Custom, not a Mk8 :?

I thought the Custom was a Mk8, thank you for correcting me.

I cannot see where I can edit the advert so to correct myself. I will be looking for a SWB low roof Mk3,4 or5 or a Custom. I do not want a white one.

It's OK, I was just establishing what was needed and that I wasn't reading it wrong, it can all lead to a lot of confusion

Quite a few on here think the Custom and Mk8 are the same thing, but the Custom is the smaller van of the two, max size being L2H2 (med wheelbase, med roof) the Mk8 starts at L2H2 and goes up to L4H3. They do share some mechanicals, but the bodies are quite different :)

I am still looking, decided it will be a SWB low roof Custom, not white yellow or red. Up to £8000 cash.
