I'm after a 56 reg transit rac van. It has to be 56 reg mk7.
2.4 rear wheel drive, tailgate, side door etc,it will be orange,i believe the AA are front drive so must be rac please.

It's for a project. I'm in north Wales.

I would like the rolling shell and tailgate with rear bumper end caps intact but the rest can be stripped.

The above or complete whatever. Or if you've seen 1 in the brackets yard please let me know.

56 reg RAC van, 2.4 rear drive bare shell with logbook/reg or anything upto complete.

I'm located in north Wales but can tow it home within a couple of hours drive distance ideally.

Thanks.

A tourneo would be cool but as they are M1 they come up as £380 on the tax thing.

A 56 reg panel van euro 4 is 140. I could even do a full step down of the shell and re paint it,underseal it waxoil it etc.

Quite a few possibilities. I could even fit a later engine and box in my van, even an automatic.

Might have problems with insurance though as it would be modified.

Why ex-rac? Would a white one not be acceptable?

Rac has the spec standard, I guess standard vans need to be special order?

But the van specs are.

Swb
Low roof.
Rear drive
56 reg.

I can add a tailgate and maybe a drivers sliding door.

Plan is to strip it right down, so the chassis welding etc. Spray it a nice colour.
Add side windows. Glazed Tailgate. Chinese bodykit (see waiting for parcels). Alloys, day van interior. Etc.

Might be possible,might not.
Certainly cheaper than a new van. :o if the above specs are in a regular white van then that'll do. But the deal breaker is 56 reg e4 cheap tax .

Probably spend more on it that the tax savings but my bum doesn't feel abused. £380 for a tourneo foof that.

My insurance renewal came in. £285 t350 2.2 130ps

I'd have to look but it'll probably be maxed towing being the t350 I would think. I can look at the plate tomorrow. What's the standard limit 8250mam?

Stupid question but can you not convert a FWD to RWD?

That's the spirit ned, i thought i was being adventurous with my drivers side slider

The floor is raised about 8 inches behind the bulkhead to accommodate the prop and gearbox. So that would be a no from me :(

Interesting.....

Mine is 3500, 6000, 1750, 2250 - but still 2800kg trailer on the log book.

On that basis yours won't be able to tow that much....
