Mark 2 Transit wanted.

I'm looking for a 78-79 transit, preferably minibus (although i can convert her myself) fair condition prefered although must run well enough to get home to ireland.
Engine type un important as i plan a conversion to modern diesel.
Boby preferably sound but plan respray so neednt be perfect.
Any length considered.
Can swap/ part ex a Calibra if interested.

You need a minibus then? or is it for a camper conversion? Cos I have a Mk2 camper for sale..

Either a minibus or van (have seats to convert it), seen the camper for sale, looks good but wouldnt fit us all in!

so is it cheaper from aus to import

as you could of had a german bus with no marks and mint body!

Probably not cheaper but the aus' cars i've seen are in excellent condition and theres the hassle of the lhd thing.

Approx £1500 if you want to import from Aus, assuming its the about the same for either way

Thats about right, a mate of a mate does a few and gets at least 2 cars in each container so the price drops.
Would consider a european car if the rhd conversion was straight forward enough tho.
