LWB TRANSIT "SMILEY" 99-00 2.5TD WANTED

As title please guys. Must be in top condition and by this i mean, No rust and certainly no filler either

Seen a couple that are fairly local, i have the cash here waiting and i will pay the right money for the right van!
I have also been warned away from the Banana engine because apparently they blow injectors quite frequently ??? Didnt think that you could have the Banana engine with a turbo on it though ??? Help please

Looking for a tidy RED one but i will consider other colours as long as they aint too outrageous

I have just phoned up to go and see a blue one that i spotted and its gone
I need to get one sorted for work reasons but im not buying for the sake of it. The van has gotta be sweet as possible please.

Could anyone please help with "the banana engine" Do i stay away etc.. and how do i know ? Im a transit novice here lads, needing help. This will be my first Transit so i wanna get a decent one. Just sold my VW T4 to buy this, that was an awsome little van but it was way too small for my needs.

im constantly on ebay and the trader bud, cant find a thing. That silver one looks ok but its a little older than i wanted. May look into it though Thanks

Ive found a few vans but not one of them are turbo'd.
would it be a ball ache to turbo it myself
I would want to convert the pcd on the wheels but aswell as converting the engine from non turbo i would surely be creating too much work for myself ?? However id get the right van in the end i suppose. Still looking though people Red is my prefered colour too, cheers

By heck Twi66y you have certainly just made my day,have just put deposit on a T reg 100 with a "Banana" you have now got me biting my fingernails.Can anyone enlighten me/us more on this sugested problem.

just to reassure you all ive never had any probs with the banana engine [touch wood !] i think they are ace .
