Recovery truck wanted

Postby milroy » Fri May 16, 2008 11:10 am

Recovery truck wanted, engine must be a 2.0 litre or smaller (and must be registered 2.0l on logbook), so something like a 2.0l petrol transit LWB. Must not have rotten chassis though anything considered. please e-mail milroy_69@hotmail.com or call 07890979773

Cheers! :)

The logbook can say whatever you tell the DVLA on the V5 mate. I don't think there is an engine less than 2L in the transit these days. If you are trying to avoid the LEZ, get a tax exempt one (or biuld one) and you can have a diesel.

Hi mate,
Thing is im 22 on a traders policy and i can drive upto 2.0 litre commercials, this limits me to a transit petrol or something similar, though it can't be a 2.5 diesel on the logbook with a petrol transplanted in or im still uninsured, but petrol transits seem very thin on the ground, i would build my own truck if i could find a lwb chassis cab in good nick...cheers for the advice!
