Wanted Ford Transit Tourneo with Automatic transmission

looking to buy a ford transit tourneo,must have an automatic or semi-automatic gearbox,51 plate onward.I am finding one hard to come by,I think they stopped putting the auto transmissions in them around 04, money is waiting for the right one.

You won't find a proper auto fitted to a Transit 2000 (or Mk6) The older Mk5's had one though.

They only fitted a few Mk6's with a semi auto called a durashift, which hasn't got a very good reputation for reliability

My mates have both a 52 plate and 54 plate transit vans,they are equipped with the durashift est automated transmission,the system provides push-button manual gear changing at the driver’s fingertips.

Tourneo`s are all front wheel drive,durashift is a RWD only gearbox/drivetrain.
You may find a normal spec. minibus (RWD) with durashift but i`ve never seen one,ask a dealer if they were ever available or an option.
Your mates vans are both RWD.
As said,true automatic not available in transit`s after smiley ones.
