Mk2 Transit Wanted - Possible P/X or Swap

I used to own a 1982 Ford Transit a few years ago and without a doubt it was the best vehicle I have owned and I miss it massively and I want to get another one.

I know they are rather expensive at the moment, and I am after one in near perfect condition at minimum. I would rather have a black one but colour isn't a massive concern as I can spray any colour to be black so not too much of an issue there. Main thing is I want a SWB panel van preferably.

I want one with no rust, straight solid body with no accident damage, everything working properly and as it should, and requires no work at all and at least 9 months MOT (may settle on less if van is good) and couple months tax.


It may seem like I am asking a lot here, but I am looking to part exchange (with money my way) or swap (if the Transit is very good) my 2005 Renault Kangoo Expression MPV for one. It is the 95hp 1.6 petrol version with an automatic gearbox and hasn't even done 15'000 miles!!!

It has tinted windows (done professionally), tinted tail lights (custom job done professionally) and has a custom sound system set up. It has speaker pods in the roof to take four 6x9s (not included) and two pods in the front doors to take 6.5" speakers (not included).

The only bad point is that there are some key scratches on the 2 doors on the driver's side and a few car park dings, but the car is brilliant!! So comfortable to drive, it's brilliant.


Only reason I'm looking to trade is because I miss my old Mk2 and saw one driving along the other day and thought I had to get another one!!
