MK1 TRANSIT CAMPER

Postby jc_durrant » Sun Nov 22, 2009 8:54 pm

Hello,

I am new to the forum and am looking to buy a mk1 transit camper, I am after the high top coach built one with bed over cab rather than a pop top.

I have seen a few around for under a grand that need work so am looking for a project rather than a minter.

Thanks

yep lol  its not as bad as it looks 2 holes in the bulkhead - 1 day job and rotten floor in cab will take a week but Body Chassis and engine run got her back yesterday and nearly finished engine today just needs a service now :)

HA HA I have gone mad I now think I have a problem I can't stop repairing it!! lol :D

Front spring hangers now repaired crossmember done all seam sealed and engine fired up just a bit more welding to go unfortunately I cut the wings off and they disintergrated    then so did the door posts    still chassis is now solid so she is still worth saving luckly I have an amazing welder as a mate so that should say a few quid
