LWB crew/minibus - no steel bulkhead - .......All sorted now

Hi all,

Some of you will have seen my newbie posts having recently acquired my SWB van, I know alarm bells go off when someone sells so soon after buying so I'll bore you with the story to explain but in any case I may keep the SWB and finish it so cash or swap please.

I need a van to take a load of stuff to my place in Bulgaria with 5 other passengers or possibly even 8. So I need bolt holes I guess to fit seats or a minibus which I can take some out of to allow space for all the stuff. I like the layout of some of the ex probation service or Roayal Mail LDVs that come up but thought I might try here first as I think Transits hold there value a bit better. Anyway, I have between £700 and £2000 to spend and it cannot be rusty all over or we'll get pulled over all the way to Bulgaria and don't wanna look like a pikey too much and of course, it's got to be capable of the 4000 mile round trip. I guess I could trade some ugly bodywork for a higher spec engine with a turbo or something but know my budget if fairly limiting.

When U bought the SWB it was just going to be 2 of us driving but a change in timing and therefore airfare season has made it more economical to road trip it with my sisters and her family who we were originally gonna meet there when they flew.

The SWB if your interested, is in my sig (or the non-running very rusty T25 for that matter) and is running great in VERY good nick bodywork wise, it has had the 3 seats replaced with 2 Granada seats which are really comfortable if a little less practical and has a caravan style seat at back with slats for a bed and also a unit to be fixed in with sink and cooker.
I plan to fix this in, put banded steels on the rear to fill out the arches and lower it a few inches if I keep it.

Any other ideas, suggestions welcome. Thanks

All sorted now Mods, can't seem to locate an edit post button unless it's only just been posted. Bought an LDV :-( Budget too prohibitive. Least it has a Ford engine in it.
