Cruise Control for sale.................................Sold

Hello Anyone interested in a Cruise Control which I had installed in my recent '99 Smiley.

It's an AP50. Aftermarket type (means not original ford). Works on the amount of rotations it's registers on the axle with the use of a magnetic sensor. A vacuumpump connected up to the vacuum system of your engine controls the amount of fuel (connected to the cable that is attached to the pedal and engine. A computer with 3 settings (low-medium-high sensitivity) with keep this pump adjusting the speed (uphill-downhill). And a remote control (which you can attached next to the steering wheel or on the dash, allows you to turn-on-off, set speed you want or go a little bit faster or slower (with a plus/min button) and a memory which remembers the speed you set it at at some time after breaking to resume this speed.
Also is connected up to your break pedal sensor.

Had to take it out because I traded her in for a more recent '05 model and found out that this is an electronic pedal, so I can't re-use it in the new Tranny.

Costed quite a bit at the time, but think 75 pounds plus postage would be a reasonable price for this gadget. I've had loads of pleasure from this, took a 2 month trip every year in the winter from uk to portugal through europe and was always cruising very relaxed on the motorway and toll roads!!

I could email pics to people interested.
Cheers, Rien

Here is a picture of the Cruise Control set:

All cables and wires labelled for ease of installation, and bracket for throttle cable and sensor also included. All complete, might need a new acble tie for the sensor on the axle.

Good christmass present for yourself?
