PAS rack is out, but I really don't see how would one go about posting it. Did you try to get a quote from courier yourself? It's quite long and heavy item.

Van had perfect banana engine too (105k) which is now out ready for new owner

If so how much ? If no then no worries. Mine didn't have one in it when i bought my van. I didn't know what that space was for until fairly recently.

Not lame at all, I was searching for complete cup holder for ages before I eventually found one This van that was broken for parts is not mine, however I don't think there was a cup holder in it. They are becoming something of a myth - everyone has heard of them, but only few claim to've seen it

Mrpuk - Theres one on ebay for £43.95.

This week there have been cupholders on ebay. Each of them were £15.99 Buy it now. I missed them. Then one went tonight for £20.00 buy it now.

I have never seen one in the flesh.

I currently have a cupholder from halfords screwed to my dash. It does the job though it is the way of the heater controls a bit. Would be nice to have the proper thing. Pull it out - slide it away. Heady stuff for my very basic mk5.

Even when these vans were brand new the cup holders would fall apart So we have a very slim chance of finding a good 2nd hand one. There are 2 high tops where I am working at the moment and neither have the cup holder not even just the front panel which I need

Going to bite the bullet and buy the next one on flea bay as I have had enough of the hole in my dash esp now I have an original ford stereo coming !!

Good for you Dave - I'm looking too. Down here there aren't any good ole breakers. Where you could clamber over the vehicles to get what you wanted. I know theres Ripleys i'll try them. They take the parts off and you buy them off their shelf. You never know they may have one.

I was looking on ebay for ages for a cup holder and they were all going for over £20!!

Then I found one in my local scrappy and paid the princely sum of £2 for it, yes £2 or 200p if you like!
