2.0 Eco Blue Injector Puller

Postby Robbieben » Wed Mar 09, 2022 5:53 pm

I have a Laser Tools Injector Puller for sale, used to remove the 4 injectors from my 2016 2.0 EcoBlue Transit Custom. The puller works perfectly to remove badly stuck injectors without causing damage to injector or engine. My injectors were seized solid, I soaked my injectors in Plus Gas for 24 Hrs before removing the injectors and this tool pulled all 4 injectors undamaged.

£457.20 from Laser tools, Used to remove 4 x injectors only. £220.00 including Uk postage.

The Laser 8288 injector puller set has been designed to pull the Ford EcoBlue diesel injector in one piece. Previously the EcoBlue injectors could only be removed if the fuel return connection and Piezo head were removed by breaking them off, rendering the injector unusable. This kit allows these injectors to be pulled out without needing to break the injector first. NOTE: If the injectors are seized and will not pull out, then please see Laser Part No. 7912.

For extracting diesel injectors in one piece, allowing them to be refitted.
Applications include: Ford Edge, Focus, Galaxy, S-Max (from 2018); Kuga, Mondeo, Ranger (from 2019); Tourneo, Transit (from 2016).
Engine applications include: 2.0L EcoBlue diesel engines.
Equivalent to OEM 303-1706. Applied torque must not exceed 250Nm.
Made in Sheffield. UK Registered Design. IMPORTANT: ensure the force screw is well lubricated with molybdenum disulphide grease before use.

I realise it was 16 months ago, I just wondered if you managed to sell it eventually. Considering getting one but after it's initial use it would probably just sit in my toolbox! They can be had for around 285 now on ebay at the moment. The Ford version is cheaper still but my local dealer says its for Ford workshop use only!

Yes, I still have it for sale. Price is still the same £220.00. I've hired it to a local garage who think it's the bees knees.

Where are you roughly in the UK? Surprised the garage hasn't bought it off you!

Don't worry about it. Things have changed and I need the tool tomorrow so I've had to order one from Amazon. Cheers anyhow and hope this has bumped your ad up.
