Another update Guys!..

I have just come of the mobile phone with Nick & he informs me that the refund will be placed in the post today :) .. Mind you, it's a good job i called via a withheld number.. As the text message i sent him on Sunday met with no reply :( ..

It will be interesting to see how long this refund of mine takes to arrive here at this end

Kind regards all

Steve...

nickwitts wrote:Hi....not logged into this forum for a couple of months so did not realise that member MOYDP was unhappy with our transaction.

As far as i know everybody who bought items from me has received them...the moderators of this site were made aware of late deliveries due to the courier company I used at the time going into administration.

In MOYDPs case his item did not turn up and he was offered a refund or another pump ..he chose another pump..... He was given all the numbers off the pump that was being supplied and the mechanic who was fitting it advised him to take his old one to match them up to be sure it would fit.
My son met MOYPD with the pump, but he failed to turn up with the old pump. The next day I receive a text saying pump was not correct one and wants refund. ( If it is not correct, how does he know it does not work )

I agreed a refund and requested bank details and the return of the pump. He was made fully aware that the transaction would be completed once the pump had been delivered back to me.

After receiving a text with his bank details I did not have any further text or telephone contact from him. To date the pump has not been delivered to me so I had assumed MOYDP had changed his mind on returning it.

I have not hidden my details from any member so cannot see how this transaction has been a con. I am also happy to have it investigated by the Police. In all commercial transactions refunds are given on return of goods, so why should a private one be any different. The refund is still available and it will be completed once the fuel pump has been returned.

Many thanks Nick Witts 07779260143

The mechanic doing the job spoke to you regarding the pump so you knew fine well it was not only the wrong pump but it was broken also & that i was unhappy about that too  .. Also where could i send the pump, i had no business address for you.. I had asked you repeatedly for that also via text, i even threatened you with the police at one stage or does your memory not stretch back that far? ..

Some of what you have wrote above is correct, apart from the pump you had sent with your son, is broken also where was the refund that was supposed to come with that pump that day.. If we are going to be totally honest here Nick then fair enough i can tell the whole story from start to end and to be honest it doesn't fair good on you i am afraid....

Now regarding sending that pump back to you, even though it is knacked, it is a thing i am reluctant to do due to costs mainly.. If you refund me the £230 as promised & something towards the cost of sending your knacked pump back to you, then fine..

As i have wrote above, i have repeatedly text & called you on this matter, with the hope on resolving the issue.. It remains to be said it still remains unresolved to date.

Now tell me do you really expect me to waste even more cash sending your knacked pump back to you, just for you to go on again ignoring my phone calls & text messages..
Oh & before you suggest that was not the case.. A good friend of mine text you regarding parts you have for sale on this very forum, which was straight after i tried phoning you about the above subject to which you chose to ignore, but guess what you replied to him straight away via text, & on that very same number. So what is it to be Nicky boy ? ... Repayment as promised in full plus postage, or do i count this as a loss... :x

To send that pump back to you i recon £20.00 will cover it.. So £250 to sort this out in a gentleman's fashion ?... Cheque, postal order, pay pal, direct bank transfer, you decide ???..

PM me & i shall give you your ( preferred method of payment information ) Now i can not be fairer than that, after what you have put me through      ...

One more thing, as i have nothing to hide regarding this transaction between you and i.. I feel that it is best to keep the communication between you & myself on here within this very thread... I believe that way those that have read what i have wrote above will be able to make their own minds up regarding your business methods & resolving the problems their after..

Regards

Steve

Well i am shocked but not surprised, a cheque arrived in the post this morning from Nickwitts for the amount of £192.50, which is £50 short of what Mr Nickwitts agreed on, (ie)---> fuel costs also..

Never mind, i shall leave it to the guys on here to make there own minds up, whether to both deal with you & trust you with their money or not. As for myself, i shall never deal with you ever again... Even after sending back the fuel pump, you still took over a week to send back a refund, all be it not a full refund at that..

But one must be thankful that one got something back, just as long as that cheque clears... :( :x

nickwitts wrote:As stated at the time I am willing to issue a full refund of the item. I am also offering to refund the return postage at cost, as u now state it does not work. I will also as a gesture of goodwill refund any costs that you incurred having the pump diagnosed as faulty but would like to see the original diagnosis sheet printed at time of test.

Many thanks Nick Witts 07779260143

Just to clear up any confusion here, the costs i am referring to are the costs that Nickwitts put me through collecting this so called working pump in the first place.. Finally after his track record do really expect me to flash out more cash on diagnosing faults that he himself was no doubt aware of..

Trust me i am an honest man and only like dealing with honest people, think what you like about this but after three months it took are rather embarrassing post to get any result from Mr Witt's..

Thanks again..

As u state... I spoke to your mechanic, that is how I know he told u to match up the two pumps, you did not take his advice and bring the pump with you.

I supplied a working pump out of a working engine and all of a sudden it does not work. Pump was never fitted by your mechanic so fail to see how it could be diagnosed as faulty without specialist equipment which I know he does not have.

As stated at the time I am willing to issue a full refund of the item. I am also offering to refund the return postage at cost, as u now state it does not work. I will also as a gesture of goodwill refund any costs that you incurred having the pump diagnosed as faulty but would like to see the original diagnosis sheet printed at time of test.

Once the item has been returned. I will issue a cheque and send via special delivery to the address I have on file for you. When you can supply the information showing the pumps fault diagnosis, I will make a separate payment covering these costs.

My address for return is Ellerby Cottage, Long Lane, Old Ellerby. Hull. HU11 5AW

Well read all of the replies and you will see that it is not as clear cut as you would like to see it..

Meaning i paid this guy via bank transfer so basically he was paid instantly and he confirmed it as such.. Three bloody weeks later and still no pump, and having to go and collect the bloody thing in person.. Not forgetting the three bloody months after that, to get anything back from him..

As i said i will never deal with him again & advise you guys if you have to deal, then deal with caution..
