help!

Postby mrgasoil » Fri Jan 12, 2007 7:14 pm

hi, need a little help here.

Its time to replace my t reg flareside as its to small for my business now.

What i am after is one like the twin wheel 14ft speedy hire/hss trucks with the mesh tail-lift. What i dont know is.
a). how much weight will they carry (i need 1400kg payload ideally)
and
b).which engine is fitted.
I know i can pick one up on a 51 plate at my local auction for about 3-4k.

Any help on this would be great.
Cheers
Rob.

Yes

If you get a MK6 T350 these will carry the same as a MK5 190 (1900kg)

So you can load it and still be well within the limit

weve got a drw 115t350 pick up 06 plate on the marquee co i do some work for it flies and takes the weight really well but the diff is quite low ratio so its screaming at 80 :? if you look at fords website they will probably have the kerb weight for one then you can work out your payloads remember 3.5ton is the gross vehicle weight any more and its tacho time :( and a tail lift can be quite hefty too :(
