Rusty windows

Coated metal frames...?









Any advice on how to clean them & treat to keep the rust off???

Looks like the edges were not treated before the window rubbers were fitted and have slowly been festering.
Probably, take out the rubbers and windows and sort the problem out before re-fitting.

I've cleaned them up a bit & it's like gold powder & perfectly fine beneath & they open ok. I think it might be from a coupla weeks ago when I was driving in the spray from a gritter?

yep ive got 2 side windows like that both sliding ones already tinted but need to do the other 3 ))

Mine had tint film on when I got the van, but it was hanging off & bubbly, a right mess. Put me off using more

one side is tinted i bought it like that ive got the other side one to tint and the 2 back ones ive done it once years ago but ive been watchin the videos on youtube and learning so hopefully itl turn out ok
