What is this wire (Split charge)

Is the blue wire for a charging light?
Comes from the back of the van and into the engine bay - then goes off to the split relay. Brown and yellow go to the leisure battery.

The only person to know would be the person that fitted that wire.

Yeah i know its not standard. But there is some very knowledgeable people on here who surely will know..

Its only a simple power take off from the leisure battery - but the blue wire is connect to the Split Charge relay.

Power for a fridge perhaps, or other high drain appliance, so the power is only on when engine running.

Thats what I'd guess too, put a meter on it and if nothing then start the engine and try again?

Yes i will be getting the meter on it. How will i know if thats not just a charging indicator as oppose to high driain feed?

You may not be able to, it may have had some extra voltage sensing circuitry on the end, or it may simply have operated a relay. Without knowing what was plugged into it, you can only guess.
Get a multimeter on them, and see what happens with engine off/running.

Most leisure split charge relays have the fridge power too, cools fridge down ready for when you change to gas or hook-up
