They look shite, but the van drives so much better than on 18's!

One of the reasons I was wary about going too wide and opted for 16". Even then I can tell the difference but not getting any uneven wear.

Nothing to do with the width GT. It's cos the tyre is 88W, only rated @ 560kg. But then like I said cant complain really, it's done 20k :D

20k not to bad a return for that rated tyre but only reason I can think of for the uneven wear is tyre "over flexing" (assuming no mechanical defects).

Quick question does anyone know if the front bumper on mod your transit is included in the sportvan kit I can't seem to find any sport can parts on fleabay...

connect sportvans are a standard mk2 front bumper with a front skid plate fitted to the bottom. The full kits come with both front and rear skid plates the side skirts (textured or plain) and a roof spoiler.and can also supply the door handle recess trims.
if you need a mk2 bumper we can supply you with one also.

How much for a front bumper both ski plates and relevant arches the bumper I want to paint the arches etc can be textures basically I'm making a t200L look like a sport van

It's not uneven wear. The steels bands within the tyre have broken causing it to go out of shape. The wheel wont stand up on it's tread, it falls face down where the buldge is so great. You can see the decent tred is flat but the knackered bit is buldging and all out of shape.
As I said mate, no doubt it because it's not reinforced enough.

price of the kits are on the website http://www.modyourtransit.com can do the extra parts needed (bumper, arches, splitter bumper caps etc) for £140 w/o fogs and £180 w fogs if ordered with a complete kit.
skirts come with the choice of grey texture to match the arches or plain white gel coat prefect for colour coding

So in the mean time i carried on fitting the flocked bits:

As well as double DIN centre console with later heater controls, A Pioneer AppRadio, black headlining and associated bits.
Still got more stuff being done as we speak. Engine conversion starts next week too!

Installed a cabin system on the weekend! Focal 2 way 13cm's with separate mounted tweeters powered by a 2 channel Focal amp. JL 12" boxed sub between drivers seat and bulkhead powered by a pioneer amp under the seat (along with the focal amp) and a Pioneer DEH-80PRS head unit to make it come together. Sounds truly amazing! Would give hi-end audio company's a run for their money!
