I finally got the timing cover off, FMC were having a laugh there !! :)

replaced all the guides and tensioners, picked bits of plastic out of the timing cover, and cleaned up the front end....

Does anyone know of a cheap-ish electric fuel pump lo pressure/hi volume that will provide enough for a 250 bhp V6...... ? :?

at least it has stopped raining, and the gales have subsided......

... slow progress

Postby dipstick » Fri Apr 27, 2007 1:52 pm

I haven't given up on this, yet...! :)

Family, work, training and money got in the way but now things are moving forward again....

Just got the exhaust manifolds done, in stainless. Not a bad job, but a real kick in the wallet...:( If i was doing this again i would NOT use the BOB motor, for the extra few HP over the BOA, it is not worth it, but you live and learn... :)

The Tiscali pics don't work for me either, same problem.

The Photobucket ones of course do.

They look well good, like they should be rather than a bit of angle change here or there. BOB or BOA aside ALL you guys doing this conversion should have those. Ok price might well be a deciding factor but since they are stainless steel they aren't going to be falling apart anytime soon. Very very neat.
