mk 3 transit valve clearances

hi , can someone please let me know what the the valve clearances are for a 1988 2litre petrol engine are , what the sequence is and wether the valves are adjusted hot or cold, thanks in advance

8 & 10 thou adjust with the cam lobe pointing skywards !

they are done cold and replace the oil spray bar while youre there

Thanks for the replies,
this transit has had an unleaded head fitted on, the rockers are different to a similar age transit i had before and are not the same as a mk 2 transit,
i noticed on the rocker cover today a sticker saying adjust valves to .020 and .025, so adjusted as said and it dosent sound to clever , any advice please

You're not confusing your thou's with your mm's are you?

8 thousandths of an inch is .020mm and 10 thou is .025mm

If you're setting them to 20 and 25 thousandths of an inch instead of .020 and .025 millimeters, that's a massive gap and it wouldn't sound too clever.
