reversing monitor and wiring problems.

Hi guys,
I am intending to fit a reversing camera and reversing monitor to my 54 plate connect 220 lwb.
I am having problems getting a rear view mirror to stick to the windscreen to mount my monitor on. ( Falls of with only the mirror on.)
Bought a double sided sticky pad from a car accessory shop but it just won't stay on. Virgin window by the way nothing on there previously.
1st question,
do Ford do a special adhesive pad for this purpose?
2nd question,
how do I get the wires from the door into the rear door pillar? I think I should only need to get the video cable through but the cable guide which slides out of the edge of the door seems a bit on the tight side?
3rd question,
can I take my live feed for the monitor from the reversing light wire as well as the camera feed, or should I find a switched wire at the front so that the monitor is always on when the ignition is on?
I trust that someone will be able to assist me with these items, as I have noticed a few of you have fitted this system.

The monitor should be black when there is no camera feed, so yes power it when the ignition is on & take the feed from the reversing lights to power the camera. Best thing to do is go somewhere that does replacement windscreens they may have something that will stick your mirror on or get a big sucker off one of these sat-nav or mobile phone mounts.
I ran the wires for mine through the rubber conduit that has the other cables in for the rear doors
