Ford van parts prices can be extortionate.

I was quoted £48 for two pedal rubbers on my 2008 Connect a couple of months ago.

I went on ebay and got two for £4....including postage. When they arrived they were the same except for the FORD stamp on the inside.

Nice bodge. Do they not need some sort of wire on there to stop them expanding to much?

Well as it turns out the bodge was no good . After a bit of driving went bang very loudly the boost pressure is mad high on a connect. I did wonder what the point of the metal rings was for !!!

I've been wondering if I could use the metal off my tumble dryer, which quit recently, to weld the van...
