i know some of you on here have used the cossy boa and 2.9 v6 etc does anyone have a manual flywheel and clutch bits etc im converting mine from auto to manual so need a few bits to do the conversion if anyone has bits let me know.

What gearbox are you planning on using, type 9 5 speed or the transit mt75 box? (For the mt75 transit box it uses different flywheel and adapter plate between engine and box)

I have a v6 type 9 car type gearbox and also the correct transit type 9 gear linkage that could be fitted to the v6 car type gearbox, the gearbox also has a v6 alloy bellhousing. I have a 2.9 efi engine with flywheel and clutch on it.

Its worth mentioning as I have found out myself recently that the proper transit v6 stuff is quite different and quite rare and some say the type 9 gearbox is not man enough for the transit but I don't have experience of type 9's in transits so can't vouch for that.

I bought the above bits as I'm fitting 2.9 v6 etc into my mk1 but after discussions on this forum I have since bought a complete proper s.v.o v6 transit to use as my doner vehicle.

i used a 2.8 granada flywheel, used a transit diesel mt75 gearbox out of a 1998 S reg transit, transit clutch plate and pressure plate made an adaptor plate,im not very good on the computer or i'd get some pictures, mine's in a mk2 transit van swb,i took it up Santa Pod strip at the weekend and with a standard cosworth boa did a 15.9 second run.could probably go quicker without the bed and crap in the back. where abouts do you live? im down south in Bournemouth, so maybe able to help.

thats basically my plan but with a petrol box instead cause thats what i have!
