Are you suffering any corrosion at the join between the roller shutter conversion and the van body?
Are you going to keep the roller shutter door? Years ago before I knew how my van was going to be used, I thought I might make a bulkhead with big windows just inside the roller shutters, so the shutters could be open when camping but shut when you want the security.
Would love to see more pics.

A fellow roller shutter transit! I had thought of replacing the roller with a tailgate, but having just missed getting one several times, I have decided to keep it. Its actually quite useful, if you overlook the noise and space it takes up inside the van, there's numerous advantages! Iwill post more pictures soon. Recently fitted seating etc and hope to usefor camping by the summer holidays
.....and to answer your question, no, there doesn't seem to be any rust there. The only rust I have is in the floor, underneath the area where the hoses were stored, so I guess that is understandable.
