Not a light trick , the roof is anaemic , old school cellulose paint oxidation it looks like, rubs off ok though , bring on the T-Cut.




Gutted on my touneo mk6 alloys , can't diamond cut them a second time apparently they didn't even last 1yr.

Had to choose a "solid "color so went for gunmetal. Can't see it them looking right in anything other than factory finish but we will see.

Yeah 3.73 and a six speed is nice

Might try that instant 6 speed upgrade on the fun bus

Are you going to put 260 size tyres on as well?

Yep I had 195/70/16 winter tyres on & they filled the arches well so I will get the same summer spec tyres for it, hoping the summer ones will look much the same..

I'm pretty happy with the front & will straighten the rear leafs if needed a little once i have all my crap in it like flooring , wall to wall carpeting , hi-fi & inverters etc..

The 260 leafs were way different, thinner & about 60% lighter..




The struts were shorter by 10 or 15mm , the springs looks the same shape & thickness though , I lost my micrometer so couldn't measure..



Last job is fitting more appropriate ( like 260) rear shocks. The FWD 260 ones are 150mm shorter so I would need to reposition the lower mounting points on the axle, which wont be a bad thing as they stick down loads, gonna research more 1st though, I am a bit puzzled as to what the relationship is between shock length & suspension travel & how FWD & RWD differ..
