HAPPY DAYS ... SUCCESS AT LAST
FULLY FUNCTIONING POWER ASSISTED STEERING

feels like its still got the orig pump on , no loss of pressure from the wee car pump!

Am so fekin chuffed and only had to re tighten one side of the joint on the high pressure side

Was well worth the time and effort and all in all cost less than 80 quid to achieve!

core plugs,re bore exhaust manifold plates and sort out ever loosening bolt on starter motor and poss gearbox but not sure yet, get a rattle which goes if press clutch in sometimes!

Nice job on the pas there mate, should save some horses!

We fit a stud in the top starter fixing now, with a nut to clamp the starter to the plate, easier to install the starter too.

I'll stick one in the post to you.

Remove the starter and fit the stud in the top starter fixing with some thread-lock.

Alan I did start wiping areas over under bonnet and surprised how white it is under all that oil n grease LOL
