I'm planning to, subject to clearance from the missus (drive up friday, kip in travelodge).

I was there for the final rounds last November - it was bloody cold, and on the saturday we were racing until half ten under the floodlights. It was pretty amazing, watching the glowing exhausts and the sparks from chassis grinding on the tarmac.

So its been an age since i added a few bits to my project but its been all due to my painter taking 5 wks longerthan anticipated, so ive been busy in the last 2 wks since recieving the van back, so ive painted a satin black pannel and the door runner, the pannel is black ready for a caravan window to be bonded on, it will look the part like that, ive undersealed all arches and sills, machine polished the rear doors, fitted a new side load door handle(was broke) polished and cleaned inside all doors and footwells, added grip tape to sills neer foot well tray, ive just got back my name plates named after my little girl, lots going on, im pleased with the project but im sick of cleaning and painting haha

Great work mate
Keep it up, you've given me some idears for mine.
What the trick with the heat gun?
Is it just heat it up or do you have to put something on it first?

No dont put anything on just heat it up thats all, becarefull to start with as you need to get the gun close, as soon as it changes colour move along, DONT touch the plastic as it changes colour because its soft and it scars the plastic not to mention its hot

Spent 20 to 30 minutes scrubbing T cut of the corner bumper before drying it if and heating it up.
Think it's turned out well. But will have to not heat the top parts up so much, as its bowed out slightly (nothing a bit of double sided tap won't fix.

Thanks Dave

Will have so start up my own post of what been done and going on
