ive just compared a set of vauxhall carlton morette twin lights upto my mk5 headlights there is only about 1/2 inch difference, at the inner lower corner might be a closer match than sierra ones

Twin Headlamp Units

Postby Wino » Sun Jul 24, 2005 7:28 pm

 OK ! I wanted to keep this a closely guarded secret and have a van that was a little different from the others 8) but you guys have been so helpful with a problem of mine that I must tell ! :D

I have got mine, in the last 6 weeks from Custom & Commercial Mouldings. I have yet to try fitting them, and feel some carefull work is needed to the mouldings to get the light units deep enough into the recesses. They offer a choice of sealed beam or replacable bulb lamps which are included. I don't want to put them on the spot by quoting the price I paid but I was surprised that it is less than half that the big guys are asking for Hot Hatches etc. The Transit is not listed on their website http://www.ccm.uk.net so call them on 01480 861 939. They knock them up to order so you have to wait another 10 days before you can fit them.

Well I think you'd be better off with a couple of candles.

Do the headlights units have a poor light spread, would a quality lamp and bulb help.
