I think i might well need that! Thanks ltdb, they all seem to say knock back and forwards 2.5 so have done that again. Still an @rse starting and stopping. Also found bolt missing under starter (fell off today) and lost a clip to the air filter! Grrr

Stop messing with the air bleed screw John, only adjust idle with the throttle stop screw, if u want it all spot on then come to Sutton and I will put it on the gas analyser for u

Right! Screwed in air valve...mucked around between timing and mix valve and hey guess what??? No more popping or backfire! But every metal holder i had holding the air filter down popped off on the maldon ring road! is that a worry ( they came off one at a time not all together)
