transit330/2.4 fuel fault?

Got a 2003/2.4 90ps model, runs fine starts first time,fault occurs when you accelerate hard,the engine misses as if it is starved of fuel.This does not happen when engine not under load you can rev to max no smoke or nasty noises.Been on a diagnostic no elec fault shows.Any suggestions guys .

does it need the accelerator cable adjusted?
air intake?

as i said no expert, but these two were the things wrong with my transit lately.

try changing the fuel filter, i had this kinda thing over taking on the motorway,its the cheapest easiest option.

If it's not any of the above check too see if the waste gate is fully opening, thats what was wrong with mine.

Had a go at the waste gate,but unable to disconnect due to corrosion around the connection to the gate.Had a quick trip up the road and the fault has gone don't know wether i may have cured it whilst trying to dismantle it .Thanks for the advice .
