I wondered about the 200ps ,and if you go on Wikipedia and go down to the new style transit , then at the side it list the power trains and says the 3.2l (is available in all markets)

My fingers are crossed lol

i hope they do a petrol engine over here, think diesels are getting to complex especially if they go adblue :(

I can't remember how to post pics or I would have done it . Plus I read somewhere last night a it the 3.2l(now could power stroke that they have not confirmed the power output yet)

Plus I find it strange you can still get it in the ranger

Power stroke is the US name for Ford diesel engines.

The new 2.7 liter ecoboost available later this year for the 2015 F-150 might be fuel efficient enough for the euro market. It is highly likely to end up in the US Transit.

I can't see a market for a petrol engine in a large van. Do any of the other manufacturers offer a petrol option?

if they can get the torque & mpg why not, i saw the 2.7 was going in the pickup & they are aiming for 30mpg so hopefully we will get it in the Transit

Its nearly 50p a Gallon cheaper at the pump. So i don't see much of a difference economy wise for us doing big miles a Year.

Surprised they havent made a petrol Custom thought that would appeal to the 'tradesman' , nice 2litre turbo perhaps....

They're doing a petrol in the one of the little Transits and Ford are very keen on Ecoboost at the moment so you never know.
