My info I posted was from Ford's, log in and check on YOUR Etis !! now as you are the world expert and Ford's are only the manufacturer of the Transit Connect and dont really know what they are talking about, then as per usual you are correct & everyone else including Ford's, the manufacturer of the Transit Connect are wrong
Do you think I just sat there and made it all up for the fun of it

Maybe, just maybe you've never seen one with orange interior because just maybe its wasnt made for the UK market and just maybe in some other part of the world there just maybe could be one that does have orange interior, just cause you have not seen it dont meant that it does not exist

As Ford's are WRONG AGAIN you better get on to them and tell them them:

The axle weights will always add up to more than the GVW to allow for flexibility in the placing of the load

GVW means the maximum it can legally weigh when fully loaded

GTW means the maximum the vehicle and trailer can weigh when placed together on a weighbridge

The plate always lists these in this order from top to bottom (never seen one different)
GVW
GTW
Axle 1 = front axle
Axle 2 = rear axle

OK checked them on the mechanical repair manual & even more courious :?

By looking at brake codes - isn't B the same as D

Brake code
B With anti-lock brakes (ABS) with Traction Control or Electronic Stability Program
C With ABS without Traction Control or Electronic Stability Program
D With ABS with Traction Control or Electronic Stability Program
liteace wrote:Image

I think D should have been "Without ABS with Traction Control or Electronic Stability Program"
As there's no code for connects without ABS (not all pre 2006 have ABS)

Hand of drive code, on my vin label is R - which is not even listed although mt connect is RHD

Liteace you maybe right in saying that I'm correct & Ford (or whoever wrote the manual) has got it wrong......

Or My connect is truly a one off - As I can only go by whats stated on vin label which differs actual factory specs. :?
According to vin label My connect should have had ABS with traction controll or ESP - It had standard brakes with rear LSV instead :(
Also my connects interior should have been either (leather) dark flint or dark pewter - Hell I would have sold the leather seats on 8)
Although if dark pewter, I wouldn't be currently looking for replacement door cards to replace my original gray ones :!:
