TBH I don't like aftermarket wheels as a rule. The sport wheels look quite nice but they're not practical for me.

Very tempted to do the HID mod, as well, Mike. What temperature bulb did you select? I really want to avoid BarryBoy Blue!

They're the 5000k bulbs, they look totally oem no hint of blue :) I've never seen the point of 'upgrading' to 8000k hids and having less light on the road than you would have with a set of Philips X-treme bulbs :?

OK, thanks. How 'plug and play' were they to install? Are relays and feeds to the battery involved?

Very very simple, all plug and play, no relays or messing about required. You literally unplug the two wires that go to the original bulb and plug them into the hid kit, cut a hole in the rubber cover, feed the wires though and hey presto. If I did another it'd take me about 30 mins.

Thanks, Mike. Finally got round to ordering the HID kit this morning. Your reduction code also worked for me, so many thanks for posting that :D

Pics when it gets dark.

To be fair, the Philips bulbs aren't much good for use in the parking lights, they only send light forward so none of it is reflected. I've swapped them out for the Osram led's which give out a much better light.

It's really hit & miss with these LED bulbs, as you say. Some give out a really feeble light, while others are bright, but have a very narrow beam. Thanks for the heads-up on these Osrams. I've just ordered a pair to go with the HID kit ordered earlier. Now, please stop posting pictures of unnecessary, but completely irresistible van gadgets :D
