Postby italian transit » Tue Oct 04, 2005 2:12 pm

blank to all they are a new customer, I call Danilo and I write from Italy, they are a lot fascinated from the passion that you have for the
vans.....I from have little acquired ford transit camper mk1 1,5 v4 benzine, I am replacing it in ordine(verniciatura, inner etc.).I would want to know, please, where I can find of the wheels in alloy, inasmuch as in Italy nothing for mine does not exist piu transit!!thanks to all.

VERY TRUE FRED , YOU WOULD OF THOUGHT THAT THE COMPANIES WHO SELL WHEELS WOULD OF RECOGNISED THE DEMAND OF DECENT ALLOYS FOR PEOPLE WITH VANS AND DONE SOMETHING ABOUT IT BY NOW , I HAVE ONLY COME ACROSS 3 OR 4 DIFFERENT WHEELS DESIGNED FOR THE TRANSIT AND NOT EVERYONE WANTS TO GO DOWN THE ROAD OF CHANGING THE HUBS.

I think so too mate, if he had put them on for 99p with a reserve it would have encouraged people to bid and he would have found out what they were worth!!! My mate was once selling a guitar he listed it 3 times with starting bid £150 and there were no bidders, then he started it at 99p with a £150 reserve it went for £180!! funny old game!! :?

I dont know how it is with mk1, i think it would be same as mk2?
But i think that every wheelshop can sell you wheels which would fit under your car

examble:
Image

these are under my transit. they are ment for -01 transit. only thing you have to do is to get little slice off from the front wheels and put nylock nuts.

there isnt big selection on those wheels but still there is.
