Wiring mess!

Hi folks, been holding this job back too long, but how's the time!, ex Clarks conversion so all this wiring was in here in a different location, I have to tidy/remove what I don't need but have to start with the charging system first, I bypassed the original system as looked too complicated, but have now got a better idea of the system. I fitted a smart charge box but it conked after 9months so found the wired in one in the original system, but can't get it to switch over and charge the aux battery, any ideas?

Do you own an iphone or similar ? get tapa talk app and you can take pics and post all in one or it's photo bucket

Have you got four cables on that start sol to make it work,

Sorry, starter sol, which one is that, said I was green behind the ears where electrics is concerned! Lol
