Picked me wheels up to day, come out pretty good.
The powder coaters didn't coat where the tyres sit, but for £10 a wheel I can't moan.
Heres some pics (sorry about the picture quality) they are gloss black ,I will put up some better pics tomorrow.

See ya
Bill :D :D

As you can see from the pictures there's bare metal showing where the tyre sits.
When they powder coat stuff a bloke puts the item on a slow moving track, another bloke sprays powder at it with a gun ( if he misses a bit it don't get coverd) and then it go's into an oven which melts the powder and then bakes it on.
I only had them done this way because its handy and cheap(across the road from work and £10 a wheel)
Must send a shout out to the lads at wednesfield shot blasting who did an excellent job, with quick turnaround, at a good price and then hung around when I was late fetching them.
Cheers John.
Ps look better than when I bought them
What do you think Matt

Cheers Restorationvanman, Got no choice but to do nowt.
Can't drive or work for 6 weeks after a heart attack so have no option but to sit and twiddle me thumbs.
Even had to move back to me old dears or they wouldn't let me out off hospital, but must give a big thumbs up to the EMT's who took me to Newcross hospital.
And a big shout out to the staff off Newcross heart and cardiology dept who by all accounts saved my life.
Anyway I do feel a lot better after 3 stents were inserted up my right arm and I gave up smoking.
Also friends family and colleagues have been brilliant.
So again cheers for the well wishes :D :D :D

Hello all, quick up date.
I'm recovering from my heart attack very well and have returned to work on a phased basis.
This means I can do a little on the van at the moment.
Last week went to me mates garage and sorted the front bumper out.
Must give a big thank you to the lads at B£M autos for putting the lights back in and looking after it for me.

Again thanks for the nice comments and cheers to Mick Bill and Daimo

Most Transits I see ( and a lot of VW Caddy pick ups ) do this.
I would go with your own advice and weld a plate on the underside to stop it flexing, unless you can find a good set of doors cheap.
Anyways, good to see you are well over your minor health glitch and back on it matey. 8)
