Windscreen Required for 'M' Reg High Cube Minibus

Postby bermshotblasting » Tue Sep 02, 2014 2:13 pm

Hello!

Any help would be massively appreciated on sourcing a windscreen for my 1995 'M' Reg Ford Transit High Cube Minibus! Autoglass have been attempting (or in my opinion, too much hassle,we'll just fob him off  ) to get me a windscreen for my van since April! This has meant that unfortunately it's been off the road all this time which for me isn't great as it's a converted van which I use as my means of transport&accommodation as I compete in motorcycle racing.

I'd happily get a new windscreen,or if anyone is breaking a van,I'd take a used one...just really want my van back on the road! :)

Thanks in Advance :D

Ps,I don't know how to post a picture of van! :?

A high cube uses the normal windscreen...

I'm based in Fife in Scotland.

It's not a standard windscreen. Like I say don't know how to post a pic but I'll give the dimensions below, as it's a pretty big windscreen.

Measurements:
Approximately 74" Wide
Approximately 38" High

Marks on glass as follows:
HW Automotive
F-WHP Laminated
BS 857-2 1967
AS-1 M61 DOT 341

I very much doubt that you will find one.

You'll be looking at around £400 if you do!

Its a dormobile then ;)

Its very definately not a high cube (although its possible that it started off as one before the coach builders got to it...)
