Well, I pay $24 per year to http://www.flickr.com , and I get to store unlimited amounts of photos there. It's where I keep all of my hi-res photos.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/evanrude-/ <----- my pictures at FLICKR.

I open up the photo on flickr that I want to share, choose the image size, (Medium 500, Medium 600, Large 1024, or Original), then I copy the image address.

I come here to this site, and click on the post button, then click the URL button.
I paste the image address between the [ url ] [ /url ] sections, and poof, it makes a link to the picture.
This link then takes you to the photo, and your BROWSER automatically shrinks it to fit your window. But if you click the picture, it will enlarge it and show the original size.

This way you can share larger versions. It does NOT use any bandwidth on the Ford Transit site, meaning they will NOT pay extra for it.

The best part is, at FLICKR, if you pay for the $24 a year account, there is no limit to how many photos you upload or share with other people :)

You can also set images to "private" if you want to share them with only certain people. You just email them the link to the private photo.

Thanks a lot for that, most helpful and informative for me, do you think one could do anything similar with this freeby photobucket malarky in this age of poverty, sorry i meant austerity  ?

You CAN use Photobucket, but the problem is, Photobucket has daily limits on how many times you can VIEW your pictures.
So every time someone opened up your thread where that picture is posted, it counts as a view. If they refresh the page, it's another view.
After a certain amount of views, nobody can see the picture any more for the rest of the day. It just shows as a big X instead.

But it WOULD work until that point.

I got my 2011 Transit Connect XLT today!

Black and shiny! It took me a while to find a Black one in the area. Cost me $22,589 USD, and I'm ready to start modding it!

((in case that picture is too big, click here, http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6111/6216305258_1bc33aca12_b.jpg))

And my final design choice is as follows... it will be how I finish off my Transit once I get started.

((again, click here if the above image is too large for you, http://www.pumpkintechnologies.com/test/Transit/Edge_Lowered.jpg))

Glad to finally have my TC XLT! :)

Now, next week, I'm going to go in and see about having the arm-rests shaved off the inside of the doors :D

When I was in the US earlier this month I did notice there were quite a lot of Connects in use, certainly a lot more than when I was across 2 years ago :)

Two years ago is when the U.S. got their FIRST Transits :)

I'm happy we did. I love them. But, I really want the sportier looking bumper.. like the one on the Transit Connect Sport. >_<

Mine will corner better once I lower it and drop it into 18" wheels with some nice 35 or 40 series tires. :)

Vroom!
