I can spend ages in the scrap yards, bit like a woman shopping for shoes, even start looking at other makes of cars for anything nice in them

I used to do that as well but all the scrap yards near me have closed now, the nearest one they go and take the part off for you.


Nice bit of shelving there Punts, I could do with re doing mine as I didn't really think about it when I made them so nothing really has it's own place

Same round here, you rarely get to go into the yard, they take the bits off and charge a fortune for them

Old days you could go in and help yourself, (even sneak the odd part in your toolbox).

Nearest one like that now is 30 miles away

Mini inverter only 300w, but I wanted to

Where did you pick up the inverter?

It was in the clearance section at tkmaxx

Found the little inverter really handy, so swapped it out for a 500w instead
Refitted my rear speakers to the new bulkhead and I've now got my cat1 alarm up and running

Bonnet switch and intrusion sensors too

Wires wires wires!


Then even managed the software install myself too( with a litte guidance) and a shiny new vcmii

Apparently normal, if a bit scary

But all good now

Then had a play with the new toy

Well, I've only gone and bought a tailgate for it

Won't get it for a couple of weeks but should be a fun job doing the conversion

i always just do those so i have 5 ticks all good, i also do the pcm update but only do this as and when need to i.e fuel in water sensor doesnt even have one
