MK7 Ford Transit left front door rubber seal, where to buy?

Postby pp5858 » Wed May 20, 2015 9:18 am

Hi,

My left passenger side front door rubber seals are really worn out, but I haven't found out proper place to purchase ready made seals or by meters the proper seal.

There is a lot of discussion on this but still didn't find specificly where to buy and what seal?

Local breakers may be the best bet if you have one local. Other than that have you tried a ford dealer?

As above, presumably you mean the whole door seal rather than the gutter 1.
They come up on eBay sometimes for around 40 pounds.
Ford may be a lot more?
Breakers would be cheaper plus you can inspect it all the way round for rips, you'd be surprised hoe many internet sellers tell you it is mint only to find it has kinks and rips all over the place (second hand).
Mk7 is different to mk6 too.
Apparently new ones fit either side.

Would be cool to buy it in lengths, let has know if you find anywhere that does it :o

I thought ford would be expensive for a door moulding I needed but it wasn't really that bad. As a set they are expensive but it was around 40 quid for the side loading door one. Got to be worth a ring, can also get the part number off them.
