They are pretty nifty, I've used them a couple of times on access panels covering pipe work that sort of thing

Couldn't find anyone who sold those button clips around here and I'm too impatient to order them, so I brought keku clips instead after seeing them on that site from screwfix.
Roll of Grey vinyl arrived today, so I just had to have a play...ImageImageImage
A bigger contrast between the two vinyls, but I'm sure I will get used to it

I did think of the Keku clips but wasn't sure if they'd have enough grip for fitting stuff horizontally

No me nether, but I'll try anything once, the keyhole version of the button clip isn't going to work, not enough room to lift the panel up and over button, but maybe a blob of silicone with help the stay in place.

All the battens bonded to the roof and some foil insulation glued up, rubbed loads of old glue off the sides. Image
The keku clips gripped brilliantly and have been holding out for a few days even with driving

Until I noticed that the plywood was starting to bend under the clips tonight! I released one of the clips and it straightened out, so I took them all off and replaced them with some timber strips screwed top and bottom to spread the weight out. Old ways are the best ways. Just gonna make it so much harder to service

No problem Rob, your gonna need some 5mm plywood sheet in a hurry as I'm going be bonding the template to van this weekend
It took quite a while to get the shape right, can you get over Saturday for a couple of hours, I can cut them out for you.

Bit more done over the weekend progress is a little slow due to all the fettling and problems with the the new drivers but I've ordered a 12A remote driver unit, which should arrive this week
Started to glue on some vinyl yesterday too, started around the corner posts, looks ok after some experimenting with folding the seems and an iron
