Yep.......Mine WAS a semi auto, a complete load of cr*p .......Mr Ford could never get it to work correctly, it needed a new clutch at 30k miles .......and to add insult to injury Mr Ford charged me to revert it to a manual .......

I remember a firm used to convert manuals to clutchless: ie no clutch pedal but i didn't know ford did it too

Maybe Mr Ford should've employed them, as they sure as hell didn't know how to make em work .......

I'm also convinced it led to the early demise of my prop shaft and gearbox .........But one benefit was that after my dealings with Ford customer service, I promised myself never to go near a main dealer or buy a new vehicle again .........

That was 17 years ago, and I've saved myself a fortune since ..........
