The Previous owner bought a mk1 Transit Dormobile in the mid 70's, but by 1983 the van was tired, so purchased a Brand New mk2 Transit from Ford in Grey Primer, a local Coach Builder then swapped everything from the mk1 to the mk2, including the pop up roof.
The van was never registered as a Camper tho, and is still taxed as a van.
Would i need to have it inspected by the DVLA ?

My bed also goes across the back and measure 5' 10", did you mention in your letter to DVLA what the actual length was?
