Thanks fred!! yes i was very pleased!! :D i came home from work to find it half sprayed in primer :D after it being so so long since we started it - the end is in sight!!! :D
even my mum thinks it looks good now :shock: - its no longer "an old wreck" :lol: - such a difference a coat of paint makes!!

your rear windows have been plated over now i see, curious what method you used to do this ?

mine have also been covered, but becasue it was done cheaply and quickly when it was first done and i dont have the time to finish it like yours (mine is gonna be a general workhorse van) i simply removed the panels preped the metal and then re-riveted the panels back in with some strengthening braces inside

Let's just say my wheels are 8) 8) 8) 8) !! personally ive not seen any better on a tranny mk1/2!! she had 8 spokers on before but although i love em i just thought they wernt classy enough now!! :lol:
I cant put any piccys on it will spoil the :shock: 8) of the finished job!! but stick around and it should be done before crimbo!! :D

there 16" x 8" rears and 16" x 7" fronts!!! Re-drilled hubs with mercedes PCD!!!

Im having a few having a few hassles getting the rears to fit at the moment - there too wide! but should be sorted soon!!! :)

Not worries, don't spoil the surprise! I'm gonna be here for as long as i'm playing drums, its been 8 years so far and i'm only 23 so I ain't going nowhere! From now on, where my drums go my transit goes too.
Can't wait to see the final pics Luke!
