Short exhaust has been standard on vans since around 2010

I'll either seal the under floor ventilation or replace the exhaust for a ss one and direct the fumes away, plan is to have the back comfortable for the dogs and open it up to the cockpit so hse wants sorting out.

Why not add a pipe on the exhaust and direct it straight out just in front of the rear wheel, stainless pipe on eBay's about £12. N

All mk7 fwd except sport, tourneo and crewcab and other that have been spec'd have a short exhaust.

they do stuff like that, hills lost one of my jag slot mag wheels once and replaced it with a pair of pepper pots

Well tbh i don't know what parts are needed, ie. Does it only have the 1 antenna? I have the roof mounted antenna and it picks up fm great, but no other frequency seems to get picked up

It is possible that the last owner pinched some bits off the van before giving the van back, that said tho they left the European maps sd card for sat nav, spare brand new wheel, document pack, and expensive looking sine wave inverter which could have been removed in 10 mins and sold down the pub for a oner.


So what gets dab to work then bloody hell? I've never ever heard the quality of dab, we've only just started to get channel 4 round here

and it goes off a lot in the back of the van
try it outside on top of a hill

My DAB aerial is a single aerial that splits into two wires, and connects to the head unit seperatly if that helps?

Can't say I've ever listened to am? But the dab is pretty good signal wise
