Well i lost some gear oil when i popped the shaft and i got some 75fe off eBay, i removed this 8mm upper Alan cap and i put nearly a litre in here.



I hope it's the right 1 it's all pioneering work on these customs, ppl just don't know unlike the mk7 where we know everything

Washed today, need to remove some sticky and some tyre gum but it looks loads better

Ah i imagine I'll only ever use the 1 on my side but they lock open on these which is very cool, i might open them both while driving when it's hot

Get rid of that bit of vinyl.




Ps. The headlight brackets are broken and they sit on sponge which is why the gaps look odd, i had to gently push down for them to go to the sweet spot, none of the bolts are in etc so the gaps are just a guide for now.
