just gotta sort the interior out now!

gonna fit:

eleclric windows
central locking
new gen steering wheel (dash would be nice!)
3 recaros in the front
& make sum betta door cards so i can fit sum decent speakers in the front

but think im gonna take my time doing these bits as have other jobs on the go (new gearbox) but will keep u posted!

Looks very well done mate, when my mk 3 "F" REG luton wants a new front end I know what I an letting my self in for. you have saved your self a small fortune by re furbishing this recovery truck, than buying a newer truck a credit to you all.

only took us about 3 weeks 2 do the lot!!

think im gonna leave the mk3 dash in thou as its cleaned up nice & i went in my mates mk5 transit the other day & the dash sticks out miles & not allot of leg room for passengers.

got my e/w kit now so gives me somethhing 2 do!

off 2 the scrap yard soon 2 get a mk5 steering wheel thou as the mk3 1 is just 2 big & skinny.

Microscan down an add-on e/w kit to the alarm but somebody said the motors would burn out quick with using it in a van.

wow looking great
if you fit the latter steering wheel on the early colum the blank section in the splines don't line up and the wheel will sit 40 odd deg out of line, so you'll need to remove the colum from the steering box and restraighten the wheel, if you follow me
They are much nicer to drive with though but you indicators may not cancle in the correct place (mine don't)

nice job mate, i am doing the same on mine. got the mk5 wheel on my mk3 spot on with no problems just need more mk5 bits, i hope it turns out as good as yours.

Did it go on straight? all 3 of the ones i've fitted all went on skewed, when i drive me recovery it looks like i'm driving round a roundabout when i'm on the straight

does any know if the mk5 wheels bolt straight onto the mk3 hubs????

wanted sum 4 mine but was told they didnt fit?????
