Ah yes! we have them there! Will be useful on it's new recovery role!

Going through it at the moment, the Alternator is next on list, prop UJ/Diff bearing, Service and tyres. 2 private owners after leaving Clear Channel - neither went far, last owner had it four years and did 5,000 miles in four years. Oil is black as! lol, probably not been changed in four years. Other than that, drives really well! :)

Had a shock at the fuela station last night.....topping up obliviously, and some man points underneath - gas everywhere! Turned off pump, had a look and it all seems to be fine. Not sure if it was because the station was having a gas delivery, but either the pump didn't turn off and the pressure relief valve let off off or if there is a leak. It still says full on the gauge, so hoping it was pressure releif and a fault at the pump!

Once upon filling up I got a major leak from somewhere near the tanks at the back, sounds similar to what you describe - gas everywhere! It was a split hose, the tanks had to be dropped down to replace it. Simple job for the LPG mechanic once the bolts under the floor allowing the gas tanks to be dropped had been found.

I had held gas and has been running fine - went to refill and leak as soon as connected, so my thoughts of a pressure valve venting were hopeful - looks like you're right skenk, a split hose, I'll have a poke about later! Typical! gotta do two days of long runs and no gas! lol!

By the fact it didn't blow the lot out straight away must be a filler hose gone.

Moto did you get this fixed? My 350 will not fill up, it vents as soon as the fill host is pressurised. Not sure if its the mulivalve or hose. Looks like gas is coming from tank area under van.

Having been going through the list, and about to drop the LPG tanks to replace the hoses,(nobody wants to do it!) noticed a pinhole also present in skin of rear tank, with what looks to be silver thermal jacket beneath. Looks like tanks need replacing as well! Looking online for some tanks now. Did see some twin range rover ones that look intentical.

Sorry, I missed your comment there. Seems to have a weak point on the rubber hoses and looks like venting. No too difficult to do by the looks of it, and pipes are reletively cheap if you have them made at a local hydraulic hose company. You may need to lift your floor and there will be 6 bolts that hold the tank in. You will need a second paid of eyes/hands underneath to drop onto a pallet or jack affair and ensure no further pipe damage is done.

Not actually completed yet as went away, and day before I left started overheating - turned out to be the stat. I think i am paying the price for a van doing so little mileage in the last 4 years of its' life!

T350 LWB 2002....about 24 on petrol, 21 on LPG, but you DO notice a horsepower decrease on LPG.

I think most factory fit Necam Koltec systems have the 55l tanks.. If I were you i`d put maybe 10l in to make sure the system works ok.

My 2004 (53 plate) Moondust Silver Transit is currently on the bay if anyone is interested, the gas system works and has been for about 18mths. I wonder if it is an ex clear channel as it has the 2 sockets in the rear, one by the sld and one on the rear pillar by the back door.
