P062D Fault Code

Postby DCha10 » Mon Oct 02, 2017 11:36 pm

Getting this code on my transit now as it won't start

fuel injector driver circuit performance bank 1

Have tested the injectors with noid light and nothing...

all connections fine, no broken wires that i can see..

Faulty ECM?? does this mean changing the Ecu?

Thanks

Is she a Euro-V..??

Could be many things....You might need to check all the wiring/plugs to the PCM. The loom can be broken/damaged inside without actually looking bad....a continuity check is simple and costs nothing..!

Have just done a continuity test and all is good....

Is it unheard of for the ecu to fail?

Possible but unlikely, well... it's not common at least. Have you checked all fuses and relays etc...??
