Rasping noise

There is an intermittent noise from the rhs which is like a tape measure, safety belt quickly retracting or the door latch operating. The noise like a rasp, like gravel coming off the tyre hitting under the wheel arch, like a branch rubbing along the body or on the ground, like thin loose plastic slapping on the body. Like a plastic comb being stroked quickly along the spines
The noise lasts a second. Sometimes the noise seems to be behind the consul or just in front of my R knee and at times from behind me or from the rear of the door. Does anyone know what it could be?

Sunday 22 10 17 the rasping noise was louder and lasted longer and happened several times. Now the noise is definitely coming from the rhs door speaker. The radio was switched off.

It seems that a live wire is connecting to the power supply wire to the speaker.

Got the door panel off and the speaker out but no exposed wires there. Got the radio out and no exposed wires there, the wiring harness goes forwards and to the left seemingly through the eng' comp' bulkhead but there is no sign of it in the eng' comp'.

Had a look at the TIS CD but no wiring diagram found, the wiring colours at the radio and at the rhs speaker correspond to wiring colours in one of the sketches and connector diagrams.

Anyone know how to find a schematic or actual wiring diagram?
Anyone know of an area that usualy gets worn on the harness?

Looked for where the wires/harnesses came from/went, inside the cab.
Felt around for the wires/harnesses and pulled as best I could = not much movement.
No moving parts near the harnesses.
Most likely place was where the door opened/closed - a gator with the harness for the speaker and central locking wires.
Bollocks of a job getting the gator out.
Inside the gator 3 wires with split insulation, splits about 6 mm apart on different wires when not in situ, pos' closer together when in the gator.
Yellow and yellow and black = power to the central locking. Grey and red speaker return wire.
Odd how the speaker worked if the power was applied to the return side.
Pos' limited duration of current flow. From power wire to return through speaker solenoid and into speaker power supply wire which could have been 3 mtrs long to the radio, into the radio.
Could not see how the wires could touch unless they touched when in situ - pos' water intrusion, condensation/evaporation within the door going up via the harness into the warm cab leaving residue in places. Was water in the door - on sides and harnesses.
Splits were about half way around the wire, at 90 degrees to the wire, they looked dirty, they were under insulation tape that had very sticky goo.
Cleaned off and taped the splits and back together - so far no more noise from the speaker.
