I have the selector from mines complete if you want it posted ?

If it makes you feel better the mk6 ate the clutch today , it’s booked in for tomorrow

Ay up are kid, how much do you want for the selector :?: its working again for now but how long for is the question, it seems I'm having to cover it in wd40 every other month these days

Just order a new front bearing as that's whining like a 2 year old, these trusty old vans needing parts eh, there not fit for purpose N

Found the problem why it wouldn't turn over the glow plug live had chafed where it follows the shape of the engine and was earthing :x the main starter earth is either a bad connection or water had corroded it internally but I can drive it with a jump lead from the starter bolt to the front arch

The engine earth cable corrosion is what I put down to why my van was frying electronic modules for a while. Both ends of the earth seemed ok but the internals of the cable were shot!

Cheers DD got an assortment box ordered so I'm gonna have plenty now.
It's mostly metric with a couple of imperial fittings which will be handy when I come to do the mini (If I ever get the time...)

When they go out are they completely off or does 1 stay very dim.
Never seen those fitted panels over cab before either, very posh

I always think ford should have fitted a small hatch to access the battery through the bulkhead. N
